Skye came to us from Sweetgrass Aussies at Canfied Farms in Galt, CA. I knew Skye’s mama “Brie” and she was my all-time favorite dog to watch trial. I was thinking of my second trailing dog when the litter was born, and I was tickled to be able to bring one home. Such a nice litter with many talented dogs, Skye was one of them.

At 2 years of age in 2010 having her open titles I decided to breed her so that later in life I could also breed her and not have her be a maiden bitch at a later age. This litter put her in the ASCA HOF as a producing Dam. All points earned were on stock. Twin Oaks Black Bart II was the sire of the litter and with such a nice litter we repeated it in 2014.

Skye made her first finals in 2012 in Bakersfield and made the cut in all stock at her first finals. We went home with placement ribbons and this secured me wanting to compete in more finals. While producing 4 litters Skye made finals 5 times. Bakersfield (2012), Greeley (2013), Bryan (2014), Albany (2016), Greeley (2018). In 2013 and 2014 She won Nationals Sheep and HIT. Skye produced 4 SDCH’s with different sires.
